Cinder - Marissa Meyer

Cinder is an interesting and vivid novel. It was great fun to read, I did, however have some problems with it. Bejing (I'm actually applying to a study-abroad program there this summer) could have been described much better. It felt as if choosing to set the story there was just a random move. No cultural aspects of Chinese life were brought up, nothing was added to the story for this being the setting. Bejing is a beautiful city, but it wasn't done much justice here. Another problem were the plot twists being horribly predictable, although it didn't matter much at the time, as they played out interestingly enough.
