The Night Circus - Erin Morgenstern AThe world Morgenstern has created is rich in mystery and wonder, it has all the fixings of the Victorian period with the added benefits of skilled illusionists and a circus unlike anything you have ever imagined. It's a world that manages to feel real and at the same time new and impossible.

This book is not for everyone; each chapter takes place in a different year, switching between the late 1800's and the early 1900's
The plot is not as fast as it could be, but than again this is a romance novel in every sense of the word. That said, it is also a brilliant, sprawling perioid peice. Very enjoyable to fans of circus stories, romance, or historical fiction.
